About the Role:
Our client, a well-established family-oriented business based in Kent, is seeking a Payroll Manager to take charge of their payroll function. This role is ideal for a professional with strong payroll experience who is looking to join a close-knit team and play a key role in ensuring seamless payroll operations for the company.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full payroll cycle, including processing, reconciliation, and reporting, ensuring accurate and timely payroll delivery.
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of HMRC requirements and other relevant legislation.
- Liaise with internal departments and external providers to handle payroll inquiries, resolve issues, and streamline processes.
- Provide accurate monthly reports to the Finance team and contribute to budget forecasting.
- Continuously review and improve payroll procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Experience Requirements
- Proven experience in a payroll management or senior payroll role.
- In-depth understanding of payroll systems, tax laws, and regulations, particularly within the UK.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in managing payroll data.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across departments and with external providers.
- A proactive and solution-oriented approach to handling payroll challenges.
