Candidate Privacy Policy
This privacy policy sets out how Recruitment Solutions (South East) Limited uses and protects information that you give us to assist you in your search for work. We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.
This policy will be updated in accordance with legislation and displayed on our website www.recsol.co.uk. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from 25.05.2018.
What we collect
We may collect the following information:
- Name, and job title
- contact information including email address
- demographic information such as postcode, preferences and interests
- work history and other information relevant to securing work for you
- For temporary workers and permanent employees – tax information, bank details
What we do with the information we gather
We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:
- Internal record keeping.
- To help you secure work, and in the instance of temporary workers are paid for work
- We may periodically send promotional emails about new roles which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.
Security – How we protect your information
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.
Finding you work – How we share your information
Once interviewed, your information will be used to assist in your search for work, and as part of our doing so, you consent to your cv being released to 3rd party clients. Once released, your information will be subject to the GDPR policy of that client and therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of that information. You have the right to confirm the names of the companies to which it is released and to confirm their privacy policy.
Advertisement response and web-based enquiries
Information submitted in response to an advertisement will be considered within 7 days of response, and the details deleted thereafter, unless your consent to retain them is granted.
How long do we keep your information for?
Permanent Members of staff and temporary workers - 7 years
Candidates seeking work - up to 24 months.
Controlling your personal information
You may choose to request for your information to be deleted, or released to a 3rd party of your choice, at anytime by contacting:

If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please write to or email us as soon as possible at the above address. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect. If you are concerned about a data breach at anytime, please contact Robert Dutton; if we become aware of a data breach, we will inform the ICO and the person for whom the data has been breached.
