Senior Conveyancer (Hybrid Working)
Location: Ashford, Kent (Other offices available)

The Role :
We are looking for a skilled and driven Conveyancer to join the team in a role that offers hybrid working. Based primarily in Ashford, with the flexibility to work from other offices within Kent, you will play a vital role in the conduct of conveyancing matters for clients. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the full conduct of conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion
- Demonstrating a high degree of competence in all aspects of residential conveyancing
- Managing your own caseload efficiently, ensuring that all matters are handled professionally and within deadlines
- Supervision of support staff, ensuring that services are provided in line with the firm’s high standards
- Participating in business development activities such as marketing, networking, and client relationship building
- Overseeing financial controls, including billing, cash flow management, and collection of monies on account
- Billing clients in accordance with agreed charging rates and achieving set financial targets
- Minimising risk through the proper management of files in line with the firm’s risk and file management procedures
- Assisting other fee earners in the office and firm as needed, particularly during periods of absence or holidays
- Continuing your professional development by undertaking training and complying with the firm’s policies and SRA competencies
The Candidate :
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Conveyancer with the following attributes:
- A law degree and LPC or equivalent technical qualification, or relevant conveyancing qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in residential conveyancing
- Strong IT skills and familiarity with case management systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A proactive attitude with a drive to learn and achieve success
- A good understanding of legal procedures and risk management in conveyancing
