The firm is looking to add a talented Senior Associate to their Private Client team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-respected firm that offers the flexibility of hybrid working while providing exposure to high-profile clients and complex legal matters.
Role Overview: My client is seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join their Private Client department . In this role, you will be managing a diverse and complex caseload, including estate planning, wills, probate, trusts, and wealth management. The role also offers the opportunity to mentor junior associates, work closely with partners, and contribute to the growth of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a varied caseload, focusing on high-net-worth individuals, families, and trustees
- Providing bespoke advice on estate planning, wills, trusts, inheritance tax, and succession planning
- Drafting and reviewing wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related legal documentation
- Overseeing probate and administration of estates
- Advising clients on tax-efficient strategies, including international tax considerations
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through exemplary client care
- Supervising and mentoring junior associates and support staff
- Contributing to business development efforts such as client retention and networking
Key Requirements:
- Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) in Private Client law
- Proven experience in handling complex matters for high-net-worth individuals and families
- Strong technical knowledge of tax law, estate planning, inheritance law, and trusts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client relationship management
- Ability to work independently while remaining a key team player
- Strong business development skills and a proactive approach to expanding client relationships
- A commitment to mentoring and developing junior members of the team
