Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £47,500 – £55,000 per annum (depending on experience) + pension & company benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:15 pm
Hybrid Working: Considered for the majority of roles

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Residential Property Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer to join our East Grinstead office . This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established firm that prioritises professional development and client care.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling all aspects of residential property conveyancing , including freehold, leasehold, new builds, shared ownership, and land transactions.
• Liaising regularly with estate agents, financial advisors, and clients , ensuring smooth transactions.
• Providing clear and concise legal advice, translating complex matters into client-friendly explanations.
• Managing financial aspects, including cash flow, client account transactions, and billing .
• Preparing and delivering accurate and timely conveyancing quotations .
• Achieving time recording, billing, and cost recovery targets .
• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships .
• Ensuring a high standard of client care at all times.
• Participating in business development, networking, and marketing activities .
• (Desirable) Experience in commercial property is an advantage but not essential.

Skills & Qualifications

• Licensed Conveyancer / Legal Executive with 5–10 years PQE
• Solicitor with 3–5 years PQE
• Strong technical knowledge of residential conveyancing
• Excellent communication and client care skills
• Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
• High level of professionalism and attention to detail
• Proficiency in legal technology and case management systems
